Since Hurricane Harvey hit Texas recently, Billie Joe has been using Twitter to share information about how people can help the victims.

Now, Green Day are taking action. They've announced a live performance via Facebook, and viewers will be able to donate to hurricane victims right from the stream. The video will begin at 4pm ET this afternoon.
It's time to band together and help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Tomorrow at 4pm EST we'll be doing a performance on Facebook Live (Facebook.com/GreenDay) to raise money for @Americares to support their Harvey relief efforts to help survivors. Donate through the button, or text HERO to 20222 to give $25 to Americares. Go to americares.org to learn more about the health-focused relief and development organization.
They didn't specify whether this will be a full band performance or an acoustic one. Either way, we'll be tuning in, and you should too.
