Green Day win "Rock Song of the Year" for "Bang Bang" at iHeartRadio Music Awards

Green Day has won iHeartRadio's "Rock Song of the Year" award for "Bang Bang", up against bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Pretty Reckless, Volbeat, and Disturbed. Full list of winners can be found at

The award show will air live tonight at 8pm ET, 5pm PT. The band won't be there as they're starting a show in Houston, TX shortly. They pre-taped their acceptance speech which iHeart posted on Snapchat (shared on Twitter via [@GDLoT])
