NRC: "Green Day is a young energetic punk pop band from California. During the second song singer and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong stumbled and broke his ankle. It was a short and powerful performance."
Trouw: "Green Day does not shy away from defeat. ... Drummer Tre Cool, born Frank Edwin Wright III, remembers the concert at Melkweg in 1994, from which singer Billie Joe Armstrong was removed by ambulance. But that was not as cool as it sounds. He stumbled across a technician and tore his ankle."
