Adam Agcaoili: "I was at that show. Green Day said they would never come back to Bakersfield."
Mike Fowler: "I was at this show. Great show! I also played at The Marquee another time. Man, we need that venue back!"
Scott P. Burton: "This is the show where we gave out those Fuck Metal stickers, which Billie Joe later put on his guitar. That was a good show."
Ryan Jillian: "I've told the story about this show so many times! Raul and I went to this show three hours early because we were so excited to see Bad Religion and the front doors were open. We walked in and went backstage and ended up hanging out with some "opening band" for almost 3 hours. All three guys were extremely nice and were telling us that they had "made it" because they were opening for Bad Religion. They were so excited and they idolized them. They said several times that this was the pinnacle of their career. They had no idea. Amazing night."
Chris Bourgoine: "Seaweed was supposed to be the opening band on this bill and did not play because their singer was sick. I was so bummed because that is the band I wanted to see the most. I remember after the show someone broke those big mirrored windows on the outside of the building with a brick from the GET bus terminal across the street. The cops came and were not too friendly."
