Green Day in Corte Madera, CA

Show Details

Location: Uncle Charlie's in Corte Madera, USA
Date: September 6, 1992
Notes:
  • Billie Joe Armstrong: "It was a punk show, and [the promoter] wouldn't let people dance. He even raised the ticket price when he saw how many kids came. He was a total sleazeball."
  • Steven Kanahe Espaniola: "We (Overwhelming Colorfast) also did a show with Green Day at Uncle Charlie's in San Raphael?! Where we basically flipped a coin to see who would open and headline since there were about 6 people in the audience."
  • Mike Dirnt: "The worst [place we've played] is probably this place called Uncle Charlie’s in Marin [County], California. The club owner brought out his goons and totally fucked us. He didn't pay us anything and threatened to take away our equipment."
