  • BayAreaPunkShows: "Some of my friends managed to get Green Day to play at my graduation party in 1991. Unfortunately one of the opening bands broke the PA so we had to try to find a replacement quickly. While we were waiting for the new PA, Green Day performed stripped down version of Knowledge to pass the time. By the time the new PA showed up it was dark and late and the cops shut it down after only a couple songs. Still an awesome, unforgettable night. ...Alright, here is the rest of the footage from my graduation party in 1991. The footage is really dark but I had a few requests to see it. Anyways, so here it is. It's only a few songs because the cops showed up and shut it down. Enjoy."
  • Flipside #73: "Had to miss Glass Eye because Stash and I had to rush back to Concord to play a party with Total Fucked and Green Day that night. The party was a gathering of local Concord-ites with lots of free sodapop. Total Fucked played without their singer (again) and were somewhat disappointing as I was expecting some nakedness and blood but all Stevie Sex Offender did was scrape his forehead with an aluminum can. 'They don't deserve anything more', was what he said afterwards. Dread were next followed by Green Day, whom I didn't watch but heard from the front yard along with bts of screeching female voices accenting every chord they played."
