Green Day in
Berkeley, CA
Show Details
Location:
924 Gilman Street in Berkeley, USA
Date:
February 14, 1992
Notes:
Matt Wedgley: "I think I still have a flyer for that show. Jon Sortland was there."
Patricia Filios: "In my mind I kept thinking that you guys played together because I had a memory of us outside with Billie being a jerk. I mean punkass. But I couldn't quite remember it all."
Minor Thread: "20 some odd years ago this is how I spent my Valentine's Day. I've never been a romantic dude or cared much about this holiday. I always figure you should treat people you love special all the time, not just on some greeting card holiday. Anyways, I bought a shirt at this show. It was a white shirt with a red heart that said something to the effect of 'Green Day + Fifteen Valentine's Day'. It was a really crappy white shirt, like the ones you would pull out of a Hanes 3-pack at Wal-Mart. I still loved it anyways, shit, who am I to complain about quality? It was only $5, I do remember that. ...Oh yeah, ... [Jon] Sortland too, right? I think that was the day he slapped the Circus Tents sticker on BJ's guitar if I'm correct. Thing stayed on there for years!"
