Location: Revolver Club in Madrid, Spain
Date: November 27, 1991
Notes:
  • Osgood: "Green Day opening for The Meteors in a tiny club in Madrid. I quite liked them."
  • José Risquete Sanchez: "There were 123 people in the audience. Their performance was effortless."
  • Reptil #6: "...In Madrid they played with a local psychobilly band, The Meteors, crashed at their place and ate their food..."
  • "Green Day. November, 1991. Sala Revolver. They all were 19 years old. They arrived in Madrid in a rental van and slept in sleeping bags on the cold floor in the promoter's office, after spending the night partying in Malasaña. Carlos Galan (now owns the Subterfuge Records) brought Green Day to Madrid for the first time. 'Since they were unknown there, we had Green Day open for The Meteors (a psychobilly band) in front of about 150 people at the Revolver. Everyone was there to see The Meteors, but Green Day stole the show.' We gave them 5,000 pesetas, which were spent on beer and petas.' A few years later, Green Day were selling out stadiums."
