Kevin: "The last concert I went to of Green Day was at a small venue called the Mesa Amphitheatre. They played on almost the same level as the fans in front of a barracade on a really low stage and weren't on a hightop stage like you mentioned. It was originally going to be at the America West Arena in Phoenix, but they moved it to Mesa a few days before the concert. It was a great show until some lame-o had to throw a shoe which hit Mike in the face causing him to get mad and jump off the stage and almost into the crowd. Then after a few seconds he got back on stage and threatened to beat the shit out of the guy who threw the shoe. After that Mike played one or two more songs then smashed his guitar up and left the stage."
