pogopop: "Green Day played before Chumbawamba and after Iggy Pop. The weather was horrible. It was raining all the time and it was as cold as the coldest February in Rome. Northern Europe is rich in festivals but has a shitty climate. Green Day played inside a marquee with 4,000 people crammed in there. The concert started with Blitzkrieg Bop played over the PA, and then Green Day came out on stage. They opened with Nice Guys Finish Last. The crowd was very aggressive and violent. It was hard to survive in there. We all enjoyed Green Day's performance, even though they played for 50 minuntes. The trio destroyed the drumset by jumping on it. Tre sliced his forehead open. There was a lot of blood. Tre was taken to the first aid tent. Mike and Billie continued destroying the drumset. Billie played Good Riddance. After that Tre showed up on stage with his head bandaged and laughed."
