Their relationship thrives on the fact that she has compete control, and tempts him into doing anything and everything at her will. "Lady Cobra" repeatedly entices him with sex, alcohol, and drugs. The whole song has a nasty, sleazy feeling, brought on by the female antagonist. Meanwhile, the narrator sees no choice but to give in ("She's in my blood"). She is his nightlife, and he can't get enough of the thrill she brings him.
